Returns and Refunds

This policy covers equipment bought outright from InfraSol Energy Intelligence and delivered in Nigeria. It sits alongside the manufacturer’s warranty, which is separate and usually far longer.

How long do I have to return something?

7 days from the date you receive the goods. To be returned, an item must be unused and uninstalled, in the condition it arrived, and in its original packaging. Solar modules that have been mounted, wired or drilled cannot be returned, because installation cannot be reversed without affecting the module.

How do I start a return?

Contact us on +234 909 999 5507 or through the contact page with your order details and the reason for the return. We will confirm the return address and arrange collection or carriage.

• Returns are sent back by carrier, not brought to a shop counter.
• Return carriage is paid by the customer, except where the item is faulty, damaged in transit or not what was ordered. In those cases we cover it.
• Refunds are issued once the returned item has been received and inspected, to the account the payment came from.

What if it arrives damaged or faulty?

Tell us as soon as you notice, and before installation if possible. Photographs of the packaging and the module help considerably. Where an item arrives damaged, is faulty, or is not what was ordered, we replace it or refund it in full, and we pay the carriage both ways. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law.

How is this different from the warranty?

A return is about changing your mind or receiving the wrong goods. A warranty claim is about a product failing over time. The Jinko Solar panels we supply carry a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty from the manufacturer. Those are honoured by Jinko Solar against the module’s serial number, and we will help you raise and evidence a claim. This is one reason we supply only modules with verifiable serials: a panel with no traceable serial has no warranty to claim against, whatever the seller told you.

Systems and installations

Designed and installed systems are covered by the terms of your individual quotation and contract rather than by this page, because the work is specific to your site. Ask us for those terms in writing before you commit, and we will put them in writing.
